Kelly Rowland To Re-release “Ms. Kelly”
In a recent interview Kelly Rowland talked about the upcoming re-release of her sophomore album “Ms. Kelly”.Rowland said:
” I am actually. I’m going back into the studio to do some more songs.
I was very apprehensive at first, but I swallowed my pride.
The record industry is very different.
Things are going more digital and I want to accommodate my fan base.”
Kelly will be doing some shows in the US, most of them with also R&B singer Mario. The shows will begin on late October until November
Trey Songz “Trey Day” Hits Stores In October
Trey Songz will release his upcoming album “Trey Day” on October 2nd via Atlantic Records.

Ashanti is on the latest issue of “Rolling Out” Magazine.
In an exclusive interview Ashanti talks about the new album, and her movie career.
After a string of platinum albums, a trio of hit films, and a forthcoming project that may prove to be the opening salvo of a remarkable second act, Ashanti’s savvy has proven to be a gift. She knew enough to wait for the right films, the right time to make her return to recording, and the right time to (perhaps?) say ‘I do.’ When you’ve accomplished that much by the ripe old age of 26, and to have done it her way, it’s almost quaint to hear Ashanti express genuine love for her fans’ continued support of her. That love remains her biggest motivator. “To have people appreciate a record or to have someone say, ‘Thank you for writing ‘Rain On Me’ - it helped me to leave my boyfriend because he was beating me’ - that makes me proud,” she says. “To [hear] ‘Wow, she did her thing in Coach Carter, I didn’t know she had talent like that,’ that’s a proud moment for me.” And those moments are all the gratification the zombie-killing Princess of R&B needs. “I’m humble pie,” she says, laughing. “When you give me my kudos, I’m good!”
The singer’s album “The Declaration” will be released on December 4th .
Cassie Working On New Album
Cassie is currently working on her sophomore album.
She posted on Myspace back in May a new song produced by Ryan Leslie titled “Sometimes” just to give a little something to her fans . Well, now a clip of a new Cassie song entitled “In Love With The DJ” has leaked.

Mary J. Blige’s New Album “Growing Pains” To Be Released In November
Mary J. Blige’s new album will be titled “Growing Pains” due out on November 20th.
The first single titled “Here We Go Again”, was produced by Bryan Michael Cox and is expected to be released on September 26th. This new album is the follow up to “The Breakthrough” (2005) and people like Babyface, Ne-Yo and The Game have contributed on it.
Letoya Luckett To Release New Album In 2008
Letoya Luckett is currently working on her sophomore album, the follow up to her self titled debut released in 2006.
Producers such as Bryan Michael Cox, Raphael Saadiq, Rodney Jerkins, Tricky Stewart, Walter Millsap, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem and Pharrell Williams are helping Letoya with this new project.
The album is rumored to be titled “Lady Love” and is set for a February 2008 release.
A new track that Letoya recorded with UGK, Killa Kyleon and Slim Thug titled “Swagger” will be dropping in the coming days.
Patti LaBelle Angry Tells Fan “Do you know who I am?”
Patti LaBelle got very angry at a fan during a concert in Kansas City, MO last Friday night.
It all started when Patti brought up an audience member and the two started dirty dancing a little bit.
Patti then said to the audience :
“Oooooh, he was coming so close.”
The man responded with:
“I think you wanted it more than I did.”
Patti then stops the music and immediately speaks her mind. She tells him :
“You’re rude! You are very frickin’ rude! I don’t play that! This is not Lil’ Kim! Do you know who I am?!”
They work it out in the end, but Patti was not very happy.

Toni Braxton New Album For March 2008
Toni Braxton has revealed on the Montell Williams Show that she is currenty recording her new album, and it’s expected to be released by March 2008.
Collaborations include Scott Storch, Makeba Riddick , Bryan Michael Cox , Kendrick “Wyldcard” Dean , Johnta Austin , Rich Harrison , Soulshock & Karlin , Harold Lilly , Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds , The Underdogs: Harvey Mason Jr. & Damon Thomas , Keri Hilson , Durrell “Tank” Babbs and Cory Rooney.
Akon Working With Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston
Akon is apparently working with Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston.
Although Akon would not disclose the specifics of his collaboration with Jackson,he did say that he was thrilled by the experience he shared with him.
On Michael Jackson:
“He’s a genius. Just to be in the same room [with him], I felt everything I wanted to accomplish in life has been achieved. That aura … that’s how incredible that aura is. We about to shake the world up, man. You know how you be with somebody and you can’t even explain [the feeling]? I used to sit and think, ‘How does somebody sell so many records and dominate a whole business genre, to a point [where] nobody can’t be a part of that without associating with you?’ The way he thinks … some artists think regional, some think national, I was thinking international. He thinks planets. It’s on another level.”
