Mary J. Blige whose real name is Mary Jane Blige has unveiled a new song called “Hero” which will be featured on her new CD My Life 2: The Journey Continues that will be out on September 20, 2011.
“Hero” is an inspirational track where the Hip-Hop/Soul Queen talks to young women in difficulties and tells them to hold on because hope and the answer to their prayers are on the way.
Using a simple beat, Blige known for her powerful vocal cords goes mellow and soft to passionately empower young ladies.
